YouTube picture-in-picture feature is now only available to paid users

One of the key features of iOS 14 is the "Picture-in-Picture". Initially in the iOS 14 Beta, I found that I could use the Picture-in-Picture to watch YouTube videos. I was extremely happy at that time because it meant that YouTube music could be played in the background. . However, with the official launch of iOS 14, YouTube has gradually blocked the picture-in-picture support, and is currently only available to YouTube Premium users.

After the launch of iOS 14, YouTube immediately blocked the use of picture-in-picture functions when viewing on Safari. However, at that time, according to the reports of readers of this site, it was still possible to avoid YouTube's blockade by switching to the computer version of the site. But YouTube is not a fuel-efficient lamp. Currently, unless you are a YouTube Premium subscriber, even if you switch to the computer version of the web page, you cannot watch YouTube videos through picture-in-picture.
