macOS Catalina 10.15.2 officially released 13 improvements at a glance

In addition to the official version of iOS / iPadOS 13.3 today, the macOS Catalina 10.15.2 update improves the stability, reliability, and performance of the Mac. It is recommended that all users install it.

This update includes the following bug fixes and improvements:

music

  • Restored column browser display for managing music libraries
  • Addressed an issue where album artwork may not be displayed
  • Fixed an issue where music equalizer settings might be reset during playback

iTunes remote

  • Now supports iPhone or iPad to remotely control Music and TV apps on Mac

photo

  • Addressed an issue that could cause some .AVI and .MP4 files to appear as unsupported
  • Fixed an issue where newly created folders could not be displayed in the Album display mode
  • Addressed an issue where manually sorted images in an album might not print or output sequentially
  • Fixed an issue where the Zoom to Crop tool would not work in print preview

mail

  • Addressed an issue that could cause a blank window to appear when Mail Preferences opens
  • Addressed an issue where you might not be able to retrieve deleted messages using the restore feature

other

  • Improved reliability of syncing books and audiobooks to iPad or iPhone via Finder
  • Fixed an issue where reminders might be out of order in the Today smart list in the Reminders app
  • Addressed an issue that could cause slow typing in the Memos app
