macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 GM (RC) officially debuted

From June to the present, after a 5-month Beta phase, today Apple officially released macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 Release Candidate (the former GM version) to developers. There are only a few days before Apple's One More Thing conference on November 11th. There were 3 unexposed Mac traces from the Beta earlier . I believe it implies that there will be three of Apple's first batch of Macs that support ARM processors.

The macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 RC version is Build 2085022a. It is worth mentioning that the Release Notes of macOS Big Sur RC mentioned that upgrading from the earlier version will take longer than expected, and there is a chance of data loss. It is estimated that macOS Big Sur will be officially launched next week.

The new macOS Big Sur interface style has many adjustments. For example, the icon on the Dock Bar is more compatible and consistent with iPadOS. And Big Sur's control center allows users to quickly start WiFi, Bluetooth, AirDrop, adjust light and dark, sound and other functions like iOS/iPadOS.

Safari added privacy report function

Safari has become more beautiful and personalized on the interface. The homepage can be customized with a background image and has an automatic translation function to facilitate users to browse web pages in different languages. In addition, the new version adds the "Privacy Report" function to view the tracking URL used behind the website.
