iTunes Replacement Project Continues Apple Recruitment Windows Media Application Developers

While Windows has media applications such as iTunes and iCloud available to users of Apple mobile devices, many people think these apps are outdated, including Apple. In macOS Catalina, Apple has eliminated iTunes, and now they are ready to launch iTunes' succession program for the Windows platform, so that iTunes will be completely replaced.

Website Neowin recently discovered that Apple has posted a new recruitment announcement on LinkedIn. They are recruiting senior software engineers and working on "making next-generation media applications for Windows."

In addition, in this announcement, applicants will take precedence over those with UWP experience. The so-called UWP is the "Universal Windows Platform for Universal Windows Platform ", which is a platform introduced by Microsoft on Windows 10 and features UWP. The application supports multiple devices at once, such as various Windows 10 devices and Xbox One.

"Apple TV+" uses UWP to allow applications to support more platforms, so you can think of the same approach as "iTunes successor".
