According to news from Jon Prosser and analyst Ross Young, Apple may postpone the release of iPhone 12 Pro due to possible problems in the 120Hz ProMotion screen supply chain. Ross Young pointed out that the iPhone 12 Pro originally used a 120Hz screen, but there was a problem with the screen driver IC, which would make Apple face a dilemma, either to postpone the iPhone 12 Pro time, or to extract the 120Hz ProMotion function. Ross Young believes that this issue is quite complicated, and Apple is still testing, and it is not yet certain whether the final iPhone 12 Pro will support 120Hz.
Earlier, Chinese media quoted Apple’s news that there will be 4 models of iPhone 12, and the first iPhone 12 will not go on sale until the end of October, including 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch versions. The high-end iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, namely the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch versions, will not go on sale until November.
