iPhone sales in the second quarter hit a record high

According to a report from research company Canalys, Apple sold about 15 million iPhones in the United States in the second quarter of this year, setting a record for the highest sales ever. The shipment of iPhone 11 is 15% higher than that of last year's iPhone XR, and the iPhone SE strategy with a reasonable price has increased the iPhone's market share in the US to 47%, and the overall iPhone shipment has also increased by 10%. In addition to the restart of the Chinese production line at the end of the third quarter, it also benefited from the reopening of the Apple Store between May and June.

In contrast, in the second quarter, the overall smartphone market in the United States dropped by 5% year-on-year, but increased by 11% quarter-to-quarter, with total sales of approximately 31.9 million.
