Apple extended the purchase period of AppleCare from 60 days to 1 year

Bloomberg reported from a memo inside Apple that Apple will extend the period of AppleCare purchases in the United States and Canada to one year. At present, whether it is Apple products such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, etc., the purchase of AppleCare or AppleCare+ must be done within 60 days after the purchase of the production order.

However, in the recent quarterly performance of Apple, Tim Cook mentioned that the epidemic has affected the demand for AppleCare, so he intends to extend the purchase period to one year, allowing customers more time to "re-purchase" AppleCare+. However, it is believed that for the time being, regions outside the United States and Canada will still maintain the 60-day purchase period. I believe that Apple will try it out in the United States and Canada before deciding whether it will expand to other regions.
