Analysts report that Apple will switch to OLED panels

In 2020, we expect Apple to launch a new iPhone, and the design of the new opportunity is the most frequently asked question per iPhone generation. Now there are senior analysts from Counterpoint who point out that Apple is likely to fully adopt OLED panels in the next new product.

The iPhone series phones were first equipped with OLED panels on the iPhone X launched in 2017. Although the LCD has not been completely eliminated in the next two years, higher-end models will be equipped with OLED panels, showing Apple's favor for this panel.

Counterpoint also believes that in 2020, several major technology companies, including Apple, will continue to drive the growth of AMOLED. Apple is also second only to South Korean technology maker Samsung in sales of AMOLED phones.

However, Apple does not seem to stop looking at OLED panels. At the beginning of this month, information from the supply chain pointed out that Apple will launch iPad products equipped with mini LED panels next year, and it is expected to start in the third quarter of this year ship.
