Three analysts from Barclays Blayne Curtis, Thomas O'Malley and Tim Long got some news from Apple's supply chain. They made some predictions about the WiFi chip used by the iPhone 13 next year. They will support WiFi 6E and use it. Skyworks' RF chip.
WiFi 6 was officially confirmed in September 2019, but the WiFi Alliance announced earlier that WiFi 6E, which added 6GHz spectrum support, and has less interference. For AR/VR devices, smart phones will bring unprecedented new experience. iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 already support WiFi 6 standard version, but not 6GHz band support.
Broadcom vice president Vijay Nagarajan said that WiFi 6E is faster, lower latency, and has greater bandwidth. The 6GHz frequency band may be the biggest change in WiFi in the past 20 years.
